Background
Amit Aman was born on 5 December 1990 in Saadat Nagar, Kosli, Rewari, Haryana, India. Growing up in the heartland of Haryana, he developed a deep understanding of the issues faced by rural communities, farmers, youth and marginalised voices — communities that are often underrepresented in mainstream media. This understanding became the driving force behind his decision to build a digital news platform that would amplify these voices and bring their stories to the forefront of public discourse.
His vision was clear from the beginning — to create a news platform that is not just about breaking news, but about building a bridge between the people of Haryana and the digital world — telling their stories with honesty, impact and purpose.
State News Haryana
State News Haryana is a Haryana-based digital news platform founded by Amit Aman, dedicated to comprehensive ground-level reporting across the state. In a short period of time, the platform has established a strong identity on social media and built a reach of millions of people — making it one of the most followed and trusted digital news sources in Haryana.
State News Haryana stands apart from mainstream media by its unwavering focus on the issues that matter most to the people of Haryana — rural stories, agricultural challenges, political accountability, social justice, youth empowerment and educational access. The platform's commitment to impartial, impactful and accessible journalism has earned it a loyal and rapidly growing audience across the state and beyond.
Areas of Work
Amit Aman and State News Haryana cover a comprehensive range of news and reporting domains:
Ground Reporting — Haryana
On-the-ground reporting from across Haryana — capturing stories from villages, towns and districts that rarely make it to mainstream media. This grassroots journalism is the cornerstone of State News Haryana's identity and credibility.
Politics and Social Issues
In-depth coverage of Haryana's political landscape — including governance, policy decisions, electoral developments and accountability journalism that holds power to account on behalf of the people.
Agriculture and Farmers
Dedicated coverage of the issues faced by Haryana's farming community — from crop prices and government schemes to protests, water rights and agrarian crisis — giving farmers a platform to voice their concerns and demands.
Education and Youth
Comprehensive reporting on education, employment, competitive examinations, student issues and youth-focused developments across Haryana — empowering young people with information and opportunities.
Rural India and Local Issues
Hyper-local reporting on the problems, achievements and aspirations of rural communities — ensuring that the voices of Haryana's villages reach the wider public and policymakers.
Digital Media and Social Media News Network
State News Haryana operates as a full-fledged digital and social media news network — leveraging YouTube, Instagram and Facebook to deliver news in formats that are accessible, engaging and shareable for today's digital audiences.
Journalism Philosophy
Amit Aman's approach to journalism is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: that every person's story matters, and that a news platform's most important duty is to the people it serves — not to power, privilege or popularity.
His journalism is characterised by impartiality, ground-level authenticity, digital accessibility and a genuine commitment to the communities he covers. He believes that local media has the power to drive accountability, inspire change and give a voice to those who have been silenced — and this belief drives every story State News Haryana publishes.
As he describes his vision:
Hariyana ki har awaaz ko digital duniya tak pahunchana aur janta se jude muddon ko nishpaksh evam prabhavshali tarike se prastut karna. — Amit Aman
(To take every voice of Haryana to the digital world and present the issues connected to the public in an impartial and impactful manner.)
