National Young Authors' Fair (NYAF) is a student-focused literary and book-writing event that provides school students with an opportunity to develop creative writing skills and create, publish, and present their own books. History
The National Young Authors' Fair was introduced as a platform for encouraging school students to participate in book writing and experience different stages of the publishing process. The event was developed in association with BriBooks, a digital writing and publishing platform, and EducationWorld.
The first major India edition was conducted during 2022–2023. The programme brought together students from schools across the country and encouraged them to write and publish books. The fair subsequently developed into a recurring programme with different editions and competitive stages. The 2024–25 edition included leagues for young authors, including the Pioneer Young Authors' League and Prime Authors' League. These stages included jury-based recognition and best-seller categories.
The 2025–26 India edition was launched in October 2025. It continued the focus on storytelling and student publishing and was open to students from different school education boards. The programme culminated in a National Awards and Exhibition ceremony held in New Delhi in March 2026.
