Supriya Palukuri's journey began in the classroom, where she discovered the profound impact of nurturing teenage students in teaching Mathematics. Teaching Math in high school for almost 10 years taught her that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but about cultivating curiosity, patience, and a safe space for growth. She focused on individualized learning, recognizing that teenage education forms the foundation of lifelong learning.
Driven by a desire to learn more, she transitioned her career to become a Lecturer/Professor. In this role, she taught child development and pedagogical strategies to university students while continuing to teach Math. This phase sharpened her research skills and allowed her to train the next generation of educators, bringing evidence-based practices from theory into practical contexts.
While she valued teaching future teachers, she missed the tangible joy of the early childhood setting. This led her to pursue her current role as Director of Little Ville A Premium Pre School. In this position, she bridges her theoretical knowledge with practical school management, focusing on creating a holistic curriculum, mentoring staff to be innovative, and ensuring a nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore. Her aim is to create a community where both children and educators thrive.
