Uttam Chatterjee is an Indian Chemistry teacher and School Leadership Management Executive based in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. A teacher by profession, he holds a Master's degree in Chemistry, with specialisation in Organic Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

Early Career

Uttam Chatterjee started his career in 2007 as an Analytical Chemist, but his prior experience as a part-time teacher soon drew him back to campus life at one of the top residential schools in Vadodara. His journey in teaching at top international residential schools continued with many additional responsibilities, which gradually trained him to become a strong support for school leadership management — serving as Dean of Academics, Vice Principal, Deputy Principal, Officiating Principal, and Principal in a number of well-known schools.

Main Work

Uttam Chatterjee's main work involves teaching chemistry and science, as well as academic administration aimed at raising academic benchmark standards after every cycle of formative assessment. He is known as a strong strategist who bridges the learning gap of children, helping transform them from being introverted to becoming extroverted, amicable, and self-dependent learners.

With two decades of teaching experience, he remains in contact with two decades' worth of batches who have passed through school and are now working as professionals in fields including medicine, engineering, and science.
